Rates of Change

Hello gals,

please go to the link provided to view animated examples of related rates of change... This is the next topic on applications of differentiation and I thought it would be useful for you to take a peek at it. It is, anyway, closely linked to Chain Rule which you have already learnt.

After that, you are invited to post (constructively) your comments on:

1) the usefulness of the animated examples

2) your ability to understand the application of Chain Rule to problems on related rates of change

To view:

i) Go to http://www.ace-learning.com.sg
ii) Userid and password are your NRIC number ie. S9234567Z
iii) Then come back to Mamamath Blog to click on the link here. Click on the 'Video Lesson'

Have fun!

Hello Mrs Pang, erm i think the person talking is very boring and makes it quite confusing. The video is like so boring also. Oh must we do the online assessments?

No, lynette, you do not need to do the assessments. Actually, even though the narrator does sound kind of boring, you can mute his voice and still try to make sense of the examples. This may reduce the confusion. Thanks for your feedback. Some students had problem getting into the site; glad that at least you could.

Hi Ms Pang. I have just voted for the subjects that i needed help urgently!!ahh!!For ace-learning, i felt that it is quite helpful, except that it can be quite confusing when they are trying to explain the unknowns.
